Welcome to the American Havaton Club!

When I started looking for the perfect puppy, I was drawn to both the Havanese and the Coton de Tulear after having always had a Bichon Frise. I was looking for a similar hypo-allergenic dog, but with less curly hair. That is when I discovered these two breeds. After realizing that I could not afford a purebred puppy of either breed, I happened to see an ad for a Havaton Puppy and fell in love!

I started searching online for information on this rare hybrid of Havanese and Cotons, but much to my dismay, there was hardly any information online. As a result, I began this website in order to begin bringing Havaton owners together.

I look forward to receiving feedback from everyone on this website.  Please send me a note if you found it helpful.  Also, if you have a Havaton or have just purchased a Havaton puppy, please feel free to register your Havaton.

Current Havaton owners,  please submit your photos, questions and answers, health/vet information and other knowledge regarding your Havaton.  This website is a work in progress and as I get more information from owners, I will add to and build this website.
